Its taken a number of months for me to reply to the difficult situation happening in Myanmar (Burma) as I wanted to be clear about it (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-22023830).  I've been asked by a number of Muslim friends, why did Aung San Suu Kyi not speak out? aren't Buddhists non-violent and so on.  About a month ago I was in a supermarket (why was I in a supermarket that's for a future blog) and a Muslim lady let me into the queue and then questioned me about the situation in Myanmar. I started to feel scared what have I done wrong? I started to become aware of my breath and bodily sensations, I relaxed my stomach, mind and breathed into my heart. That's what my training in meditation has taught me, just wait a few seconds.

Good one!

I also heard about the violence going on in Myanmar. It is really an unfortunate situation going on and whoever is responsible is not at all taking any action to solve it. Hope that the situation will be under control soon. microsoft outlook update
