Holocaust Memorial Day
Holocaust Memorial Day commemorates the tragic loss of life in the genocides of World War II, in Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur.

International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day marked by women's groups around the world. This date is also commemorated at the United Nations and is designated in many countries as a national holiday. When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day, they can look back to a tradition that represents at least nine decades of struggle for equality, justice, peace and development.

World Environment Day
World Environment Day is designed to stimulate worldwide awareness of ecological issues. Environment Day is also focused on generating political action for environmental conservation. It was established in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.

Universal Children’s Day marks the marks the day on which the United Nations adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in 1989.

International Human Rights Day marks the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The Declaration has been and continues to be a source of inspiration for national and international efforts to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms.
