Indian Jews celebrate Simchat Torah

Every year when we have read from one end of the Torah to the other, we celebrate 'Simchat Torah' the festival of the Torah - it is the most chaotic festival of the year as we take the scrolls and dance around the synagogue with them. This video shows this festival while also introducing us to the Bene Israel, a group of Indian Jews, now living in New York in this instance.

And this is ultra orthodox, Chasidic Jews in Israel celebrating the same festival. Their traditions originate in Eastern Europe so the music and dancing is different to the Indian tradition:
