This is the first of six parts of a channel four documentary entitled 'Baby Beauty Pageants' - it examines three children and their involvement in an American style pageant in the UK. The parents motives are fascinating, the children's comments at times made me want to cry! I'd recommend the whole programme, but just this first part is a good lesson trigger for discussions on at what age beauty regimes are appropriate, and what is the meaning of real beauty. This might be a particularly interesting lesson at a vocational college for Hair and Beauty.
