'real' beauty? Watch how a model is transformed

This short video shows how models are made up, airbrushed, and transformed on computer to go from a woman who might be considered plain:

with spots and dull lanky hair to a fake image of what is 'beautiful'. What does it do to our own self image when such fake images of beauty are thrust at us. Should we aspire to be like them?

 

And this parody also asks us to think about what we eat and smoke and drink does to our body. Do you agree with it, however, that people want to see fake beauty around them rather than normal people?
