Religious pluralism is a uniquely Hindu idea. It suggests that every one of us relates to God in a different way. As we are all different, individually or as groups, the way we relate to God has to be necessarily different. The same God has been thought of and promoted in various ways by different prophets of different religions to suit the needs of the people they were interacting with. Hence every religion will necessarily be different and there is an underlying unity behind all such approaches
