Why Aren't We All Good Samaritans?:
Daniel Goleman,
psychologist and award-winning author of "Emotional Intelligence"(EI)
and other books on EI, challenges traditional measures of intelligence
as a predictor of life success. In this 20 minute TED Talk video, he
asks why we aren't more compassionate more of the time. Sharing the
results of psychological experiments, and using personal anecdotes, he
explains how we are all born with the capacity for empathy -- but we
sometimes choose to ignore it
