This is a long song (6 minutes) but worth seeing through to the end. Stephen is a wonderful performance artist and friend of mine from my studies in Sweden where he now lives, though he is American originally.
This song deals with a whole host of other sides - the other who is unknown around the world, neighbours, the other side after we die, the other in our relationships.
He even weaves a central Jewish prayer into the song (around 4.25) making reference to his grandfather saying the Shema as he was hauled away. The shema is what Jews hope to recite upon dying (if they are able to).
This is just a really moving song helping us to consider things outside and beyond ourselves.
